I'd say that if someone jumped ship from a company, anything negative they say about it must be taken with a grain of salt.

It is possible, perhaps, that he was late on a couple loads because he tried to book too tight, and the company activated some preplanning restrictions to keep him from booking tighter than he could perform?

I was leased there several years ago, and you can book loads out in advance.

Ya. Hes confused with how it works. I'm thinking he's better off at Landstar anyhow with an RGN as Mercer doesnt have a ton of loads for them. I've only seen one guy here that has one.

He was there for like 8 years they said. This a very nice older couple. Millionaires to be sure. I don't know why he'd just talk out his hat like that.

I dont dude.... I wouldn't be here if I had to wait till I was empty to book my next load... Maybe just a misunderstanding between you and him possibly? Who knows. 8 years would have been a long time to stick around somewhere dealing with that.

I remember when I first started driving. CDL school. Just graduated.

Dude pulls up in this shiny 379 from TMC.

Opens the door. Says "Sir, you just look like a flatbedder."

What my eyes locked onto was his clean work boots.

I then looked down at my sneakers.

"Thanks. But I think you have the wrong guy."

He simply didn't understand how it works, which probably led to him not doing well and seeking other opportunities. Or maybe you misunderstood him? That and hh/rgn. We are not a rgn carrier. Yes we got a few of them but its definately not our focus and i wouldn't even attempt to make an rgn work here.
