So a friend of mine worked for this company based out of Georgia he has not gotten paid in 3 weeks to add insult to injury the truck got reprocessed (by a third party for lack of payment on the truck) as he was waiting on repairs after agreeing not take any more loads until he got paid needless to say after that he just took the greyhound home.
Now chances are he is never going to see this money but is there anywhere to go to file a complaint against this company? Thanks for any help you can give.

He won't get paid for his time trying to get his money or filing complaints just more time wasted I think move on and try to learn something from the situation.
TeamDent Thanks this. -
Little confused - can you clarify the "Waiting on repairs after he agreed not to take any loads until he got paid" ??
Is this a lease purchase through the company?
Can we know the company?baha Thanks this. -
I was going to ask who is company is...
Sometimes the only thing that can be done, is preventing someone from making the same mistake! -
Sometimes knowing where a person who owes you money lives and showing up with a nice size piece of pipe can get you paid.

I would have stopped after the first week. If you're supposed to get paid every week, and you don't get paid when you're supposed to get paid, why keep going? Promises of a better tomorrow?
I do what I say I am going to do. I hold everyone else to the same standard. If you tell me that I am to be paid every Friday, I expect money to hit my account EVERY Friday.first time it doesn't RED FLAG. The ship is in trouble. I've seen Titanic. Abandon ship. I will have a new job by Monday.
Is there anywhere to go to file a complaint, or t see about the money owed?
Usually, when that happens, that company is about to go under. The owner grabs as much money as he can and runs for it. So the creditors and the drivers all have to fight it out in court and that takes years, as there isn't a company anymore.
You don't run 3 weeks without a paycheck...that's just stupid.Clamhammer and chopper103in Thank this. -
