I think I can help you with the following DOT guidelines comment. You can drive legally (if you are otherwise qualified, hold CDL and have medical) a truck provided you don't fall into any of the disqualifications listed in the tables in 383.51. However I am closer to Ridgeline with my opinions about hiring you. I won't say I would not hire you. I'm saying I would give your history a close examination before I gave you an interview.
Edited: This accident happened in 2010. It also is something I think about every time I see a thread asking about jobs in this industry after a DUI/DWI conviction. I'm all for 2nd chances. I just want to make sure you are not a problem drinker because if you are I can't afford you. THIS CRAP is why people such as Ridgeline and myself hold these tough stances. I never was able to get the final amount USA Truck had to pony up to settle all the lawsuits. However I suspect it was seven figures.

OP, to be perfectly honest I would not worry about a (policy) you have a DUI on your record, just do your best to make sure that is the only one. @Chinatown has (correctly) stated in other threads don't go by some of the things stated on a company's website. APPLY anyway. Even IF OD has such a policy in some cases they will still hire you after looking at your overall record and body of work. The largest hurdle your going to have is their insurance company! Just apply, you have NOTHING to lose.
