Since my husband only has to go out for 1-2 weeks, with his mentor (who has a dedicated run), we are wondering if he'll have a truck waiting for him immediately following training or if he'll have to wait?
When will they tell him how much he'll make per mile?
Do you have to have 6 months OTR before becoming a mentor or getting a dedicated run?
Are small inverters (300 watt) allowed? For laptops or cell phones.
Is the "update info" section on swiftdrivers.com down for everyone today or just us? We're trying to set up direct deposit and get W-4's done but that's the only section that doesn't work.
Thanks!
Once training is done - how long before getting a truck?

Update your info must be done at a kiosk at a terminal. Inverters that use a 12v plug are fine, don't use one that has to be hard wired to the battery in a company truck.

1-3 weeks from what I've been hearing.
Maybe his trainer can give him some current estimates. -
1-3 weeks out of Decatur, GA? I've heard 1-3 on the west coast but not south or east.
How stupid is it to have to update your info only at a kiosk at truck terminal? Why can't you do it at home? Geez, what's the point of having the site if you can't use it? -
Well,
if you don't like the answers,
don't ask the questions !!
Good Luck !! -
I don't have to like the answers, lol.
123456 Thanks this. -
Is that 1-3 weeks for a trainer or 1-3 weeks for your own truck once you are done training?
-
Please insert another quarter !!
-
whatever. don't answer or clarify. Someone else will.
