guess it's 2 seperate issues then. When I first got this POS (before the deal to merge was approved by Uncle Sam) I rarely dropped calls. Within a few weeks after the merger was approved, I became known as Mr. 5 min because that's about how long my phone calls would last before I dropped the call...even in populated areas like the average eastern US interstates.
As for the switching off settings, all toggle options are grayed out...cannot switch. Plus, once OS is upgraded, cannot downgrade without rooting and I am on the road, so no computer to root with.
OnePlus uses their own version of Android called Oxygen. Not sure if the official Android on other manufactures phones has it or not.
