You said yourself that you estimated the cost to be $495. That's more than I pay at a Speeco. Large places also get huge volume discounts on oil and other supplies. You also have to legally dispose of oil and filters. You say "no spilt oil" but that's just not reality. Accidents happen. If you've ever looked into the work area of any oil & lube place, there is oil everywhere. It's the same reason large Mega trucking companies can charge less for hauling freight than owner operators. With huge volume comes huge discounts.
Onsite on demand oil change anywhere anytime?

Truck stop chains do not like outside vendors on their premises. It’s competition.
I wouldn’t try rest areas either.
You may have some luck trying 1-10 truck size fleets, that are all parked on the weekend at a private yard.
The price point is high, I do my own with Schaefer’s oil (high $) - for less than $350.Midwest Trucker, Rideandrepair, wore out and 3 others Thank this. -

I know it's not what you want to hear, but just being honest with you. This isn't a good business to get into for the reasons we've all told you. You're making excuses for every reason we're telling you it's a bad idea.blairandgretchen, Roberts450, PE_T and 1 other person Thank this. -
Here’s another problem you should be aware of. The mileage interval for semi trucks keeps going up, and who knows when this will stop. For example, my 2014 Freightliner with a DD15 has an interval of 50k for long haul. Newer trucks are 60k or higher. This means less regular customers.
Rideandrepair, bzinger and SteveScott Thank this. -
You don't need everyone to be in need of your service. I'd say do what Blair suggested and target small fleets.
I know a guy in the Toledo area who has a thriving shop who started out fixing flat tires, blown hydraulic hoses and lights. He did great work at fair prices. If you do good work, word will get around and you'll be choosing your customers, not the other way around.roadtech, Midwest Trucker, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this. -
My Pete air filters are right at 100.00 a piece....I bet I won't get the 495 bargain price

I agree, it’s not a practical business for all the reasons stated. I personally don’t want the oil sucked out, but drained. So I can check for metal on the magnetic plug. Sounds like the one making money is the Franchiser selling this mid guided idea. The better ones are the two mentioned. Fleet yard maintenance, and especially mobile Truck wash. Also can do houses, decks, even strip malls front side. Its a good business if there’s room in your market available. A generator and a couple tanks, hot water heater, all mounted on a step van.And forget the franchisers, Do you’re own thing.
