Open Letter to Crete Carrier Management - Constructive Criticism

Usually, but I don't mind getting the occasional Dallas to Denver runs. Crete's version of Rand McNally apparently doesn't consider US287 to be a valid route to Denver. Gives me an extra 90 or so miles pay every time

 

Yup, it doesn't like it when I hit over 70 for more than about 10 seconds at a time when rolling hills. I don't mind though, it makes sure I keep below 75 on downgrades. Since I'm governed at 67, I only hit warning speeds when rolling hills.

 

Heh. Every single problem I mention above still exists, as of this past Saturday when I went on hometime. None of them are dealbreakers really, but every one they fix would make a tiny difference in driver efficiency per year for every driver, leading to large overall savings of time and money by the company.

 

Oh, agreed. Peoplenet isn't a game-breaker. The whole point of this thread was to point out and comment on some obvious, resolvable issues that could allow Crete to improve the efficiency of their drivers while simultaneously fixing some annoying crap.

Even a tiny bit of improvement over thousands of drivers makes a significant investment of time by a couple people very justifiable.
