In other words... if I was a joe schulb steering wheel holder not keeping my own recap on ledger pad etc to the exact hour and minute remaining last 8 days I think oh... here i have a extra 5 hours to run today says this screen you speak of.

No no no... (You follow me, where I am going with this?)

I'm taking a 34 right now, actually. Already submitted my expenses for last month and my monthly maintenance recap. Only thing left to do is fart around on the internet until bedtime.

In some circumstances, yes. Generally only if a recap driver takes a 34 hour reset then keeps running hard after the reset. The bigger problem is dealing with off duty time and on-duty not driving time when you aren't certain how much of your 14 hour clock is actually left.

A noble endeavor that you partake in. Good luck with whatever happens because of this.

My expectations are low, because I doubt anyone of any real importance will ever see this. Therefore, even a small change for the better will be a pleasant surprise.

A driver review panel might be effective, but I want nothing to do with it other then the chance to send them suggestions. My weakest office-related skill is compromising. I have a very difficult time watering down a good idea by adding elements of tard to it.

I'm not irritated enough to leave for something as petty as inefficiency. These particular issues hurt Crete far more than me. It took about 20 minutes for me to write this stuff up. I've been mentally noting the problems for years.

It sounds to me like the company has had a history of such poor drivers that couldnt figure out when they could drive and when they couldn't drive based on the accurate HOS clocks... Hence why they have implimented (very poorly it soumds like) those stupid clock alterations and "NannyBots"

If someone cant look at a handful of accurate HOS clocks and figure out when they can drive and when they can't... Why are they even in a truck to begin with????

Yet another company added to my list of "Never Apply To" companies.

I dont need micro managed like that, thanks but no thanks... I'm a big boy.

As long as the checks keep cashing for the corporate heads at Crete, nothing will change. They love the life that YOU provide for THEM, but I highly doubt they will do anything to make changes to a system that in their minds works and provides THEM a really nice, comfortable, dinner with their family, home every night in their own bed world. I wish you the best, but if you want to live in the world you wish Crete was, become a full blown O/O, because then you won't have to deal with the shortcomings of upper management since that would be yourself.
