What about separating them farther out towards the edges of the trailer then securing each piece separately, with the straps over one under the other?
It’s twice the straps but might work.
    I like @Rontonio ’s idea as well.

That’s probably the ticket - never thought about it.

That may have worked also, given the staggering of the non insulated portions.

I would use the choker idea in the middle, make the shipper position the load where you need, also clevis through the mounting plates, and a light weight chain or wire rope threw the middle.

Are you done with that load yet? How did or does it ride?
I like @Slowpoke KW 's idea the best, then you don't even have to buy shackles...if you do invest, buy Crosby's. I had some cheap Chinese shackles once and the threaded hole went egg-shaped on me.

If straps are going to damage the product, do not use them. Just know the exception from the Cargo Securement Handbook for the "10 foot" rule:

Note: A vehicle transporting one or more articles of cargo such as, but not limited to, machinery or fabricated structural items (e.g., steel or concrete beams, crane booms, girders, and trusses, etc.) which, because of their design, size, shape, or weight, must be fastened by special methods.

Of course your securement still has to be adequate for the load based on weight, movement, etc. Good suggestions on nailing some dunnage/wedges in place to keep the pieces apart.

Similar piece (insulated) 75 feet long, secured at the ends only. This one had holes large enough that I could pass the chain through, but I have moved lots of smaller ones using shackles (I do use a shackle on the bottom tab at the front of this one). Make sure your shackles are WLL stamped (and adequate) and you know how the WLL is affected by loading.
