yeah I guess you'd get screwed less if you'd been involved in a head on

When my truck burned up a month ago the tow bill was $3520.00. I was happy to be a company driver! This was in Allentown, pa.

Well if your truck burned down then that would be an insurance claim...and they also pay for the towing...

I seriously get a kick outa these guys who say they would hit a car head on like its no big deal. They never have and I bet never will...unless they just have that ###### of a concious and can live perfectly normal lives after killing a family or whoever is in the car. I say get a lil more experience before making a post like that...and try to be a lil more civil about it.

If there was a chance that one of your family members could be in that car would you still? No you say?...why not? You might have to pay for a measly tow or something instead of just killing them and carrying on with normal life...

This is the kinda scum that we need OFF our highways...posting this kinda crap like you idiots have about being OK with hitting a car head on is now making us look like murderers...is that really how you want people to look at you now??

I got towed into Meridian Ms from about 45 miles east in Alabama on I-20. The bill was only $525 dollars and he showed up in 45 minutes. Then about two months ago we had a driver in need of a jumpstart in California and they charged $1000 dollars! When you get good service remember them. There are some seriously crooked people in this world. I was a locksmith before driving a truck and I never gouged people, don't have it in me to screw someone over. The locksmith I worked for in DFW today has 60 service trucks and several shops. By far the largest locksmith company in existence and he didn't get there by screwing people over.

the avg driver, in a semi or a car isnt as proficient as they believe themselves to be

anybody can swerve, the correction after that is where the rubber meets the road

silly woman where i live swerved to miss a fox in her car, lost control and rolled....killing her 2yo in the backseat.

if its smaller than you, try to stop and stay where youre legally sposed to be and take the hit.

if youre rational, its darwin at work...if youre retarded, youll get relief in the knowledge that theyre in heaven

I was being sarcastic with my reply to that post. But, to be fair, I think a driver who goes off the road to avoid a collision probably has to deal with a lot of blame unless there are witnesses who step up and vouch for the cause- and I think this type of scenario is what that driver had in mind.

    Bingo!!

The first thing an insurance company will tell you is make sure you get a piece of them....because if you swerve to miss them and wreck, if they don't stick around....you're left holding the bag. Same applies for animals...you'd best have that deer or moose's blood and guts all over your truck if you're in the ditch...
