It’s a free-for-all in that area, what I would suggest is get on Google Maps, Google Earth, and also use Google to research any feedback history on that area. Your best bet is to find some cul-de-sac or industrial street where you can slide into and park the truck until your delivery. You’re not gonna find some open truckstop in that area. You’ve got to get creative. Or you need to align your hours, so you stop somewhere outside the city and account for traffic and other factors as to when you need to leave to get to the delivery on time. If I were in your situation and I have been many times, I’ll spend hours researching to find somewhere I can park in that immediate area. If you look long enough, and you know how to look, usually you can find someplace.

 

A cul-de-sac in NYC? Good luck with that.

The last time I went into the city I parked in PA and started my day at 2am to make the 8am delivery.

There's the Vince Lombardi service plaza just off 95 before the GW but they enforce the 10hr maximum hard. 10:01 you better be rolling or you'll have a ticket on your window with a wrecker on the way.

 

Stay in nj & they are up and smoking at 5:30am

Well, i dont recall parking all night for sleep/ might well find a spot if you spend half the night looking/
If thats what youre looking to do, best real life bet would be get close and start looking, circling bigger til you find a spot.
Hell of a lot easier to not stay in the city proper just to sleep.

 

You might as well just do 8 and roll there. They do not #### around, tow trucks literally stay on site foaming at the mouth to get you.

 

Where are you coming in from? Up the turnpike or 78/80?
