Owner op paid per mile.

It is just about impossible to give you an answer to your question without you being more specific.... Is it van freight, reefer, flatbed. Is it local, regional, or otr.

 

I get $2.26 for all miles...

 

I can do that with a reefer. No hazmat.

Yes - I’m leased on, own equipment, specialized flat. 2 trailers. About 25% to carrier.

I wouldn’t do this for less than $2/mile all miles to the truck. Last year was over $4, this year mid $3.

 

Why would you do cpm? Leased on you should be doing percentage of the load.

 

So hook 7 trailers together and a man could make enough to justify owning a truck
