    We truckers have to control the system not brokers and carriers! Middle people everywhere. I want to create system we can skip middle people !

    If we truck drivers - owners just not take load for 4 days. Or not take loads under $3 period that will be end of Brokers. Only takes 4-5 days. That’s all.

    Why do you want to set the bar so low? If you're going to collectively cease all operations until you get what you want, why not set it for $10/mile or some other double-digit number? If you are going to do it, go big or go home. No one wants to waste their time for minor gains. Make it worth the effort.

    No. The only way to get of the brokers is if every single O/O got their own authority and went out and got their own customers. Until that happens there will always be brokers.

    Also, if an O/O wants a bigger cut of the pie from the broker; they need to work on building that relationship with that broker. Why should a broker give an O/O they don't know a bigger cut than they have to? They will give the O/O they have proven relationship with the more profitable loads. Which is why it's important to build a relationship with brokers in the areas you like to run. Not just in your hometown.
