Sounds like you run a private fleet. You really nailed it on the relationships. The lost art of the friendship. When I ran my own truck I had "relationships of trust" with various shops throughout the country. I would try new shops out with a geese job possibly a full service to see how they do. I didn't do the soda and tacos but that is an excellent idea. Its really good to have a network of shops you can rely on. And of course there were a list of shops I would not touch with a ten foot pole. Dishonest or poorly managed.

People who hype some program they thought of that will revolutionize transportation. But it won't integrate with the system you already have much less your customers systems or any of the myriad of systems that your current one does.

    Therefore, completely worthless.

Every once in awhile some slick little hustler shows up on here with a scheme that will revolutionize the entire trucking industry. Whatever the idea is it eventually requires money from a driver or truck owner. It's usually advice or information or a service that already exists or can be found for free if a person wants to dig for it.
We're tired of people who think we're morons and whose main goal is to separate us from some money. We don't need any more parasites. These leeches all have one thing in common and that's a lack of a successful track record.
My advice to would be entrenpeneurs is to show us something and not just whisper things in our ears that have no substance.
It's like I heard my Dad say to a salesman..."You say this thing will pay for itself? Good! Bring it back when it has."

I don't believe you have any idea what other programs charge to integrate with something new. They don't just allow something new for free. And then they also charge the end user.

I couldn’t get the data in one place.
I felt like I was managing the schedule vs. the project.
Files and documents were hard to find.
I finally took matters into my own hands and built Project ******.

This is the kind of garbage you get multiple times a day. Stand alone, won't integrate with any of the major systems.

But some poor carrier will pay his price to find that out.
