Isn’t 40 hours a week considered part time for us?

By part time I mean not hours worked but have the freedom to not work constantly and be able to bounce between homes.

If I decide to hit the beach for a few weeks at a time it will not be a issue.

How about delivering RV's from place to place? Think they call it drive away. Tow your car behind the motorhome and then drive that back home or to the next pick up.My sister who is retired looked into it once, but said she wasn't comfortable driving a 28' Class C, let alone one towing her CRV.

I got a coworker who retired as a firefighter. Spent 25 years and basically works at USPS as a truck driver now for the benefits and TSP 401k/roth plan. His firefighters pension is around 70% of his salary. Combine that with the PO's FERS pension and 20-25% of his PO salary put into the TSP, increased Social Security pay, and benefits after retirement...and lets just say he doesn't have ANYTHING to worry about when he retires. Got a lot of Military Vets also doing the same thing.

If you're looking for part-time work with the flexibility to work whenever you want...I would also agree with the temp services. But if you're willing to stick around and work a couple hours a day, or maybe on the weekends alone, with a Class B license, try looking into Mail Contractors. The PO also hires Class B drivers too...(a.k.a. MVO - Motor Vehicle Operator), but this is a permanent position though.
