I almost joined the service when I was younger, it may have been a good thing I didn't. Trucking created mistresses in random spots around USA, the military would have given me worldwide mistresses lol

Don't get too discouraged because time fixes everything. You'll certainly need it here. You'll need to slow down, not just on the highways but in life. You're still a very young man. The others say, you'll need to 3 to 5 years from the time you got those tickets in order to start. You'll be able to develop some patience this way. What's a little troubling for me is that you admitted that you can't stay at a job for longer than 6 or 7 months. You'll need to practice a little commitment at a job for now because you'll have to account account that potentially when you apply to these companies. Your first year in trucking is most likely gonna be some bull schlitz. The starter companies mostly likely won't pay the best and the working conditions may be questionable, but you'll need to stick it out to get to the better money because experience matters. Also, availability and reliability matters. While you wait for these tickets to fall off, get you a job and stick with it for at least a year. In the meantime, you can save up some cash because you'll need it for CDL school. If you job hop too much in the trucking industry, it can get to a point where companies may not want to deal with you. I'm challenging you to have patience, slow down, and exhibit some commitment.

Might be some driving opportunities in agriculture jobs that don’t require CDLs

and I know a couple of people that do pretty well driving sprinter vans and minivans doing expedited freight delivery but even with them your tickets could be an issue .
The company I work for now doesn’t require a CDL but two tickets in three years and you’re not driving a company car and not even allowed to drive you own personal vehicle on company time , traveling to a job site or whatever .

and this is another example of , why you have to fight every ticket in court , usually by hiring a “ticket clinic “ type lawyer .

Yes sir. I did. I was a 2T1 for the USAF. All branches have a direct counterpart to my job with different job codes.

The only reason why I drive now is because I drove then. Without question, the most opportunity in terms of transferbility to the civilian side.

I did a stint as an Aggy and recently left the field. As in 26 hours ago.

The only way to qualify for a CDL exemption is if you are moving your equipment/product from one piece of your property to another. Example is picking up hay, then moving it 20 miles back to the plant to be ground up.

If you plan on introducing your product for sale, you now need a CDL.

If you run Aggy, you will be doing a bunch more stuff than driving. I wouldn't even consider it a driving job. Driving is just a small part of your job. Which is why I quit.

Haven’t you learned what being in a hurry does for you yet?
Slow it down, when your record clears then you can get in to trucking.
    Take this time to CTFD

A sailor loses count; even if they bother to count. Most have no idea.

My buddy did a 2 year stint in Morroco. He's from Boston.
Two years in Morroco, then 12 months in Vietnam , then civilian life. He was always complaining , " you don't appreciate what you had until it's gone."
