Most truck drivers can't grasp the term "quiet zone">maybe if there were pictures it might help....but I doubt it.
One of my favorite QUITE ZONES is @ the peelot in Newnan Ga--it is wedged between the rr trax and the runway! LMAO
I might pay for a spot in the quiet zone. IF it really was quiet. And it had a catered dinner. And free drinks. A movie would be nice. Maid service. Wake-up call. Oh, and late check-out. And a chocolate on the hood when you wake up.
I left the "Maid service" up to one's own discretion. After all, some might prefer the maid to be dressed in, say, an Amish long skirt. Maybe.
No ####..... funny how I didn't notice those tracks when I was tired and backed in. Sure noticed them about an hour later when I was soooo rudely awaken lol
I notice some places opening preferred parking. If you spend $50 in gas you get free parking for 74 hrs or $20 in the restaraunt theyll let you park for free for 24 hrs, otherwise you pay for parking. This I can live with - after all, they arent making money if you just park for the night, eat your own meals and move on. It's not the paying customers that caused the issues - but those just parking without using any of the services they provide to make money. I have started to see an increase in these prefered parking sites. I am all for this as you payed for a service and then get the parking for free. If you don't want to pay for a service then you pay for the parking.
Problem with reserved parking is truck stops (T/A North Bend, WA) change more of regular parking spots to reserved spots. You shouldnt have to pay to park imo.
