I think if you don't want to be "tracked" for targeted advertisements you have 2 choices.
(1) unalive yourself
(2) go completely off grid living in a homestead community where you don't purchase anything, sell anything, or do any work recorded by IRS. -
I honestly have no problem at all being tracked with advertisements. I knew they were doing this and actually do have multiple phones but to do this to their EMPLOYEES is wrong, creepy, and weird. I’m not a customer buying something I’m a employee and you have 0 reasons to be involved in my personal life.

I see almost no ads on the internet. I get almost no junk mail or robo calls. It does take work, but once you develop the habit it's pretty easy.
When I tell family and friends that they all seem interested, but then when I talk about what to do their eyes glaze over because they can't be bothered. I think it's because it is socially unacceptable to resist the media machine too vigorously.tarmadilo Thanks this. -
