So Lofgren couldn't get congress to make a law making "CMS" required equipment so they feel Sni would be opening themselves up to a lawsuit so they back off of implementing it for now.

 

or, on the other hand, a crap load of long term contractors told them to pound sand.......

2022 makes more sense. It gets SNI closer to where they feel autonomous trucks will be here anyway. No worries though. SFI will be more than willing to lease those too.

Mentioned that very likely lawsuit a few times, but nobody seemed to think it would be a reality. I truly believe it would have happened, and been successful.

But in the email I received he mentions the trucking industry as a whole will not have "CMS" by August 2018, hence my congress remark.

Either way I'll be gone.
