    Money is there. It’s the changes trucks are now 66 and slow. Promised a 4 day work week, running 6. Haven’t had 2 weeks in a row where I have been home for more than 24 hours so always on recap.

    It’s a cheese company that owns trucks not a trucking company.

    I was only a company driver for 2 mo. I can imagine the shock going back to company driver

    Dave you're a smart guy and patient.
    Check it, new and used class 8's are going for real cheap right now. Its a total buyer's market. Take your time and you'll find the right deal.

    I would see if you can find a lease return truck a year or two old that you are happy with. Less cost than new, more warrantee miles than a mega truck.

    Just make sure they don't give you anything but a standard warrantee for the remainder of the factory warrantee miles.

    If you can't find something like that, I would go new.
