What makes the back hauls the worst in the world.......?

 

I do.. I wasn’t saying that to be negative.

 

Dude you do you boo boo , you have earned the right to work while enjoying life, like you I drive because I love it - and there’s no way I’d work that schedule...hey did the even throw in free cheese lol. ​

 

I suspect that, as a non-trucking company, their planner or planners really doesn't care much about backhauls as long as they get the truck home. Likely they have no established relationships with solid shippers. Return loads likely come off public load boards.

My guess is that 50+ percent of loads are no-appointment soup sandwich loads with lots of detention.

You gotta go where you're happy. My first chemical job was 6 figure job with the best no cost retirement I ever seen. But it only took 8 month to see that it was making me miserable to the point I put on over 20 pounds. I miss the money and the amazing people I worked with, but you had to eat , sleep, and breath for that plant and at the time I couldnt do that.



And they still are always hiring

Yep managed to death, I mean for a six figure salary maybe it’d be worth it, but come on...
