@Winnyf1 and I found another winner in San Antonio. Not too far from H. E. B. and Labatt. It's less than 10 miles from the Petro on 10 also.

Received excellent service and great food. Also got to meet the owner. He was a very down to earth guy and really cares for his employees.

He has a few high schoolers working for him and actually cares about how well they do in school. He has them show him their grades and they know he expects them to better themselves by joining the military or go to college.

Now about the food it was excellent BBQ. Nice juicy, tender brisket and perfectly cooked ribs. Had potato salad and cole slaw and they were good also.

Owner said we were welcome to park there to eat, trailer and all. We bob tailed which was a little easier.

@txtodd this BBQ would satisfy your taste buds!

If you enjoy BBQ this is a must visit in San Antonio!

txtodd, Winnyf1, gdyupgal and 3 others Thank this.

I can only second @Pigbacon, this is the place to come for BBQ if you like good smoked meat and I will be making a trip back the next time I'm here...thanks again to @Pigbacon for the find!

Thanks for letting me get out of the Hilton and take a ride over there in the Ritz-Carlton!

    As @Zata40 would say.

    Winnyf1 Thanks this.

I'm making crock pot meatloaf, broccoli and even some mashed 'taters. I'm starving, and the smell is killing me.

I didn't know you could cook meatloaf in a crock.

I make a killer meatloaf in a crock, although it was better when I had the smaller crockpot, this big one has too much room so the meat doesn't stay as compressed to the sides, so it's a little less slice-able.

I think the worst part is the mixing of the stuff...used 1/2 a roll of bounty and a dozen handy-wipes.

    Pigbacon and ncmickey Thank this.

Tried something new today put a roast on the crock pot cooked with a liquid taco seasoning. Sliced up some little taters grilled them and a salad.
