We all have our demons. ;)

If I drink Pilot coffee, I’m on the side 30 miles down the road. Hurling my toenails up

LOL..I tired Pilot's from the OP's example of the new machines....I actually thought it was pretty good. Haven't had any of their other stuff in awhile. Don't go to Pilot much anymore unless I'm up against the HOS clock. They're still better than Love's though IMHLO.

I’m sitting in a Loves right now lol. With the express intent of filling my Yeti thermos in the AM. Plus, there isn’t a Pilot within a 100 miles in any direction.

As you say.....we all have our demons :D. Truth is I don't get to many T'S's anymore so I'm hard pressed to know who's "good" anymore. All I know is none of them are as good as the stuff I make at home. As I said.....spoiled.

I have 13 days left in this truck. Then I hope to never drink truckstop coffee again. The new one will have its own coffee maker :)

That'll make all the difference. Buy yourself a grinder (burr type) and grind the beans before you brew. Will be a big improvement.

Start with Jamaican Blue Mountain. Have it roasted locally by a roaster you trust. Grind it medium fine just before brewing. Brew it using Aeropress. Steam whole milk and mix in just a teaspoon full into the cup. A bit of sugar. Enjoy.
Smooth as silk with no after taste. Absolute best. Nothing compares. Nothing.

Feeling a little sluggish? Start the refill, then stop it 1/3 full. Start another refill, then stop it at 2/3 full. Start another refill, and stop it when it's full. GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE

McDonald's McCafe breakfast light roast in the cans for $10 are pretty good stuff.
