Food service jobs pay real well and are local or regional being home several nights a week. Always ignore "experience required" and apply anyway online and follow with a phone call in a few days.

OK, lots of researsh to do but it will be worth it. Planning well will prevent you from a poverty wage trucking job. Get all the endorsements; doubles/triples, tanker/hazmat, TWIC and a passport for enterning Canada. Best wishes. -

Check with your local DMV.
Check how your resident status would be affected.
Check with the school you wish to attend and verify anything they tell you against what your state of residence tells you. -

Just spoke to roadmaster in Florida and they confirmed that I would need a Florida drivers license to take the cdl exam. Each state is different.
