PLEASE HELP start with PRIME INC or Knight?? suggestions

I couldn't disagree more. Hole-in-the-wall trucking schools will teach you to drive a truck. Companies that have training programs teach you to be a truck driver. The schools even the community colleges don't teach you the tribal knowledge involved in the job. The schools ( even the community colleges ) don't guarantee that you will have a job after graduation. With companies like Prime (for example) when you complete training you have the job.

 

I love it when people say they wouldn't touch Knight with a 10 foot pole, as if they have gone through the schooling! lol.

 

Companies that have a training program teach you to be a truck driver? ??....I guess you haven't seen England's program...while some are good, most don't teach anything...just look around and that's obvious...running team with a trainee is not training. ..how can anyone teach while sleeping? ?...most of these Co's training programs are cheap labor team operations. ...that's all..

 

Some people need/want a little more hand holding. I was done after two weeks. The third week with my trainer was torture.

To each there own though. I've read good and bad from both companies. Most of driving is common sense. I just don't see how these people show up to these schools with a $20 bill in their pocket, expecting it all to work out.

 

What company and what was the cpm I started out making 850-900 a week and running flatbed
