Poly Trucking What you need to know !

Yep, probably close to 400k miles and I've lost exactly one day due to a breakdown. Had some problems but luckily I've been able to MacGyver #### together to get back to a terminal for a loaner and keep on rolling.
Things going pretty good with the "local" gig, only 3 back hauls since starting in July otherwise just rolling back to PW.

 

It really wasn't that long ago that paying for tolls out of pocket and getting reimbursed was standard operating procedure in the industry. Some guys took advances, some didnt. You paid the tolls with cash and turned in the receipts. Sometimes you'd have a pretty big stack of them from a trip to the NE. Sounds like Poly just doesn't see a need to modernize to e-z pass.

 

I used to run from Northern Michigan to the Northeast. I often had 400 worth of tolls a week. All where paid in cash

 

They'll nickle and dime for shop purposes, but waste tons of money paying cash instead of getting a discount using EzPass, all because they don't want to have to provide any financial data to get an EzPass account(their reason). Something sounds fishy...personally I think they are either hiding some shady accounting or are so paranoid about someone stealing their money. Wouldn't be surprised to hear one day that billions of dollars were recently unearthed from their back yard when a massive flood hits their area.

 

I was ' behind the glass ' recently and talked to the Wizard , they are looking into a gadget
called AllPass . I'm assuming it's everything
in one package .

 

Isnt it amazing how even management can get in here as well to prop up and do damage control that their disgruntled can create.

 

You dont have a MaxxForce engine.. Sweet!!! You have no idea then what the others that do are even talking about.. Not at Poly anyway..

 

you have the choice to go somewhere and drive a truck without a maxxforce engine,or to not drive truck at all,quit blaming your failures on someone else,it gets old.

 

I dont have any failures that I worry about, I learn quite well really.The only real failure I have is with understanding folks like you that like to dress up Pigs, knowing that under all that make up, its still a PIG! But yet you act as though your taking out the Prom Queen. You got it made Truck Driver!!

 

wasn't trying to dress anything up, it was just my perception of poly, and it seems useless to me to try and turn the pig into somthin else, and besides i like pork chops.
