    He is making quarterly estimated payments just like you suppose to. If you don't you pay a fine. It's the same as if your self employed.

    From what I've read so far, this is a good company. It's my understanding you need operating capital to get you by until you can be reimbursed. If you live paycheck to paycheck, this probably not the company for you.

    Yes, you the driver have to take up the slack if and when the truck lays down on you.
    (6 weeks bring$home set aside is what has worked for me )

    Bottom line : you get a base model truck , non forced dispatch system ,
    and a phone number to Michelin On-call road repair .
    After that ..... your on your own.

    you can get advances for tolls or a personal advance of half your miles from the previous week. but it never hurts to have cash

    I heard they changed that when they went to EFS. A driver who uses that said they put a $500 limit in payroll advances now. I never used it, so I don't know if he was right or not

    I saw five Poly trucks headed east on I-30 Saturday, an two of them were being towed by wreckers.
