I picked up at Mouth of Wilson, VA. Right on the NC/VA line...in fact, the directions they insist you use actually come in from I77 in VA, drop you back into NC, then bring you back up to VA. Roads are so narrow that they have to set them up for trucks to travel only one way in and one way out.

Nope... I have officially hung up my 3 axle #### spreader keys FOREVER. I am driving a big blue Peter(bilt) that will hopefully break down less in it's lifetime than a Poly truck does in a month.

Hey Loanerdude, maybe you can get Paul to move your orientation date up a bit and you can park that truck crossways in front of building 8...with a big middle finger painted on the glass with some of that glass stuff they use for 'just married' signs.

My truck has been having intermittent injector
issues for some time , it stumbles all over itself
and has a hard time getting up and going , even then it runs bad.
Im sure the dealer can fix it so i can get down the road.

I hope people realize when they look at these
threads that we are not joking about how bad
    the equipment at Poly is.

you do if you don't have good money management skills, live paycheck to paycheck and can't go a week without pay because you live above your means and want to blame someone else while you say you can't afford this or that. but yet its funny how much people spend on cable, satellite tv, sports, movies, music, blah blah blah same ol story. "last time i checked we all have the same 24 hrs in a day".

Whatever. If I wanted to have to run a P&L sheet while working for somebody I would go out on my own. Piss poor excuse for something that's inexcusable in today's world with the technology available.

well even tho I left poly back in may i will respond to the list of 10 above
    1. i can't say if poly trucks are 100 percent junk, i haven't driven all of them, mine for the most part was better than i expected.
    2. 2 or 3 weeks without pay never bothered me, i could go 6 months without pay. but I live below my means and i believe I'm pretty good with my money.
    3. no showers at the plant never bothered me as i was only there long enough to sleep and get my next load out, if i did have to wait i went to a motel with the extra money i could get for taking a longer rte and getting paid hub miles.
    4. would be nice to have some driver comforts but they don't, a lot of drivers live in TX and drive home. once again i didn't ever stay long and if i did off to the hotel i went.
    5. no pre pass didn't affect me as i chose to drive a lot at night when scales were closed, if i didn't i just passed thru like always.
    6. never had to pay to park where i ran as most of the time i ran nights and showed up at the truckstop in the morn.

9.although no breakdown pay i was offered some pay when i had an issue, could say i broke down twice in 18 months but the first time i chose to get truck looked at dealer then went to motel for repairs, the 2nd time i learned could've been avoided so i have to take some blame.
    10. no wifi wasn't a problem for me, i connect thru my phone to my laptop if needed.
    11. no washers and dryers were not an issue for me as i would bring enough clothes for a month whether i needed them or not.
