Been with big orange over a year now and I'm a TE for western 11 out of Fontana, Ca. I have a great DBL and currently running the amazon account which I'm home 2 1/2 and out on the road for 4 1/2. Basically my time off on average is 50+ hours. I've been on the fence about being an IC and I've been looking at the % program. No offense to schneider finance but I will be buying my own truck and from what I've seen the boards, Schneider holds loads out for guys that buy their trucks from SFI so they can make their payments and those loads wont show up on the board for guys that brought in their own truck or bought it from a dealer. No harm, no foul, I understand and its not deterring me from going into the % program. I have the financial backing and money saved up, I just got to make a choice. But regardless. I've seen the Port Dray position for I/C open. Does anyone know about it, have any experience with it? I've been to long beach with the Potential Industry loads, it feels like hundreds of times.....so I know what to expect in Long Beach. Hows the pay? I know its mostly city driving but there are no crazy mountain passes to eat up your fuel. Home every night would be nice to including a predictable schedule. If has any experience, please message me! thanks!

Maybe you and another IC Choice driver could compare load board screenshots to see if this is true or not.

There is no screen shots for port dray..you get your loads from a dispatcher.
Enjoy having SOMEONE else control your income potential.

While back I read two IC drivers compare boards and one was slightly different than the other. Maybe since there are from different oc but given the load number they can both view it. Maybe computer related, internet speed, etc etc I doubt they do that to drivers but they could

Pull your toilfoil hats off guys, nothing to worry about. Sounds like an excuse some IC made up to explain why he wasn't making any money. Me and another IC compared the boards once, my board vs the board of a driver who did not finance his truck through SFI. We checked multiple different areas and loads and guess what?
ALL THE SAME.knuckledragger Thanks this. -
