I have a frieghtliner that a dd13. I got it completely stocked nothing extra because of the deal they was giving it to me. It is set at 450hp. I was wondering, if im able to tune the truck up to a higher hp and torque. Without hurting the truck. I see that they make the dd13 up to 505 hp
Best advice and opinion I do appreciate and thanks in advance

I'm not a mechanic and I can't answer your question accurately but I've read where guys have made adjustments to their engines to get either better horsepower or better mpg. One trade off with them was price vs. end result. Some adjustments were worth it and saved them money in the end and other changes were a waste. You could explore gear ratios for extra pulling power.

Bring it to the dealer and they should be able to download the 505/1850 file. Don't quote me on this but I think its just a download and no hard parts
QuietStorm and Tanker4life Thank this. -

it's possible to increase HP to 505hp by software if that engine has high HP one box and injectors. otherwise 450 hp is the max .
Tanker4life and QuietStorm Thank this.
