Then reloaded a load that was only 1 pallet.
Pulled into the shipper got loaded , strapped and back on the highway in less than 2 minutes.

Then picked up 48k of stone on the way .

You guys have any reccommendations for how to strap down those crates with the tall flat pieces ?? I think i shouldve put another strap in the front of the middle pallets ,only hauled these once before and did it the same way . But makes me scratch my head . It seems to be the only way to secure them without messing up ur straps or the rock pieces.

You aren’t going to hurt the rock pieces, your straps on the other hand will take a beating. I hated hauling stand up flagstone. I carried 1’x4’ pieces of carpet to protect the straps. I would have preferred to use 5/16” chain.

With those frames built around them I would do all of them like your front pallet. Pulling down in a “V” shape.

This is what the majority of the standup flag I hauled looked like. Our straps crossed the stone not “with” the stone, if that makes sense. More cut points (which is why my carpet was 4’ long) but you didn’t have to worry about your straps getting stuck in between the stones. 0B445A63-D232-46E4-9A8B-83A2B8692E9F.jpeg
^This was before I upgraded to the long pieces of carpet. B76CE75F-CF07-4120-9AB0-5076F84BA900.jpeg You can see the carpet in this picture.

You could use chains. They would go on about like you have the straps. More of a straight down pull. Two per pallet, front/back.
