Practical miles vs. Dispatch miles????

Dispatch miles are usually Zip code to Zip code or household moving miles. Practical are the actual miles. You will find that Practical are usually about 10% more than Dispatch miles.
You are paid Dispatch miles. Some companies will pay practical miles, but they determine the route. -

Means You will eat from 5 miles to 50 miles. No Pay, Nada. Nothing. Over a year, Lost wages. They have a BBQ in your honor.

I would assume dispatched miles are the miles for the routing you're given if you work for one of those companies that does that.
I've never heard of practical miles being referred to as 'actual miles' before. That sounds more like 'hub' miles. -
Another great rip in the industry.
Deliver in Atlanta. Pick up in Atlanta. Miles driven? 25. Time taken? 45 minutes . . . Pay ? Zero.
Practical miles are a deal make or break for me.
