Prime or Con-Way (XPO)

Conway truckload is getting passed around like the town tramp. I still think of them as Confused ####ing Idiots.

 

25000 miles with a trainer no matter how much experience? OTR 1 year for everyone?
Am I the only one who read that and thought, no way I'm doing that. ??

 

My husband corrected me....you have to be with the trainer for 5000 miles, not 25000, no matter the experience.

 

I don't believe this...

 

I couldn't believe it either...

 

How's the pay and benefits ? If they expect more they ought to offer more.

 

Conway blows and sucks at the same time.......

 

Go with Prime. Been here at Conway now XPO a long while, and it's become all for the stock holders and very little to nothing for the driver. I have an ace in the hole company I been checking out over the past 6 months or so and it beats here hands down, especially in the area of equipment/trucks, driver comforts, and miles. You wanted an answer, my opinion of course, but least your getting feedback from the real deal.

I've talked to a couple Conway guys recently. They all said the same thing, that while their converting to XPO it seems the company is dumping unlimited money to "take over" everything. They all seems pretty excited about whatever is going on over there.

What's funny is when I did LTL I delivered and picked up a lot from the real XPO prior to the Conway thing. Seems like they were a front for something, apparently not.
