No opposite side of the country. But amerigas bought out the local propane company like 8 bulk plants. Closed the office and are running the place into the ground. Doing the transports themselves now .

I actually canned them as my supplier got sick of talking to India and I saved like $1.70 per gallon for propane without even trying…..

but like others have said it’s good for experience and that’s it

I used to load next to PTI guys a good bit. Good company, nice equipment, good pay. Propane, asphalt and butane is all I've ever seen them hauling. I think the only reason that we made more money is because they paid us more the more gallons we loaded. At PTI there were no variations in pay rate besides seniority. Also, driver facing cameras and lots of oversight. Keep in mind his is in the North Eastern US, could be much different down south.

The number is active. However, when you call it it only rings once and asks to leave a voicemail. I've left three throughout this time. No one calls back. I have sent a text message, and there was no response. On the third time that I called, someone answered, I heard breathing, then the phone was hung up. Is there another contact number where someone actually answers the phone in an office?

If they're not responsive when you're calling to inquire about employment, how do you think they're going to be when you call in with an issue like a blown tire or, God forbid, an accident?

Drivers handle tires on there own at PTI. Its like your an O/O the driver sets up the own PM's brake jobs, tire changes, and etc.

Please don't thank me for info that you could look up. Listen Amerigas is straight garbage. But if you wasnt to work there under PTI. Call this guy and ask if he's hiring any drivers out of the Corpus area for PTI.
