There are so many different cleaners and disinfectants. How do you know witch ones work the best? Witch ones to use in the sleeper and cab? how often do you clean the truck? I don't want to destroy the insides.

can't go wrong with Simple Green, and it smells good too which is helpful if you're a smoker. Personally, I use a 5 gallon bucket with kitchen bags for a garbage can and it doubles as a wash bucket. Once a month or so I get hot water and a sponge for heavy cleaning but try to spray and wipe a couple times a week in between.

Febreze is another good product to carry. Can spray it anywhere in the truck; mattress, seats, everywhere. Wipe down the dash, shifter, etc. Excellent stuff.

Those lysol wipes seem to work pretty good

Lemon Pine-Sol mixed correctly according to the bottle works great and the smell is pleasant, not overwhelming. Can wipe it on anything but glass.

Spray nine is another oldie but a goodie.

Pinesol or Mr.Clean works good.
I kept a bucket and sponge on the truck.

As someone who detailed truck interiors for a living I can tell you what worked for me. I used Purple Power on pretty much anything waterproof in the truck. Too get it good and clean use a fingernail brush to scrub (or a bigger one on floors). There is also a cleaner called secret potion that worked great with the added benefit of long lasting good smells. I mainly used it for upholstery though. For your windows, buy some of the bug buster &/or rain x windshield washer fluid and put it in a spray bottle. Cheaper and better than Windex IMHO.
blairandgretchen and Chinatown Thank this.
