Most of the plants I went into required the safety wear. Those vests that the company issued were hot and uncomfortable, so I bought shirts that met the requirements. And didn’t care what anyone thought about them when I stopped for fuel or food.

The 1980 model R we had at EZ used a Mack engine with a 13 spd transmission. Had a chrome dog on the hood. Always been my understanding that the gold dog represents a full Mack driveline as well….. -

Truck drivers shouldn't be made to wear circus monkey suits. We drive trucks. Not meet at the door to corporate.
Comfortable pants or shorts in summer
T-shirt
Jacket or hoodie in fall
Comfy work boots
Winter gear (waterproof snow pants, heavy winter coat and gloves) for chaining and outside winter work. -
It has been said that a trained monkey can drive a truck, but that doesn’t mean you have to dress like one….
