Pushing 8k+ a month on 1099.. for last 7 years. what is take home with Mega company

Often overlooked is pulling heavy equipment for local construction companies from site to site. The guy I work for gives me 22 and gives you o/t after 40. But your in out of the truck all day Throwing chains and loading anything from pavers to 700 excavators. Never had a week under 50 hours. That’s about 40 weeks outta the year. The off months I plow for the state. Not bad for a young gun.

$4000 fuel
$4000 fixed cost

3000 miles =$1200 x 4 weeks.
$4800

 

1099 don't pay fuel..

 

They pay lots of other things though.
