I have a friend, Johnny Lang, whi is currently driving Saltwater for an Oil company, He and his wife used to drive team for CR England but for obvious reasons he won't go back to them, and won't go Swift because of the association with CR England. He is wanting to go back OTR with his wife as a team but is unsure what company to run with. He lives west of me in Mineral Wells, Texas. I told him I would ask for input. What is the best carrier you would suggest for an OTR Husband Wife team. Both are experienced drivers. He has several years experience, his wife is currently driving busses.

4noreason, you can find my facebook by following my email. I will PM you my email. go to my facebook, look at MY friends list and type in Johnny Lang. You will see that he lives in Mineral Wells, Texas and works for basic Energy hauling saltwater for the oil rigs. I have no use to use a fake name, I am under contract with Millis Transfer. My wife is a nurse not a truck driver and I have two kids ages 10 and 14 that can not go on the road. I have no interest in Team driving as I don't WANT to share a cab. I will PM you my email so you can verify. You should not be so quick to call someone a liar. I was contacted by another member on this forum for info concerning water tanker jobs. Johnny had tried to convince me to sign on with them when I signed on for Millis. I told the member here that I would contact Johnny for him and get the company info. I talked to Johnny on the phone last night and he said he wanted to go over the road again, but refused to use CR England...his starter company, or Swift, which he says is owned by CR England. He asked me if Millis hired husband and wife teams because his agreement with his wife was that he would not go over the road again unless they went as a team. I told him no, Millis did not hire team drivers but that I would ask. You can feel free to leave a message on his FB page confirming this but it will be a few days before he responds as he lives in the middle of BFE with no internet...which is why I posted for him. My email is in route to you...and anyone else that wants to confirm this. I may be many things, but a liar is not one of them. If I want to know somethng for myself, I will ask...for myself...I don't tend to care if my questions make me look stupid.

EDIT: Ohhh and one more thing that keeps my wife from going on the road...beyond my two kids, and beyond the fact that as a nurse, she already makes a salary in the upper range for a trucker, and beyond the fact that she has no clue how to drive these things, is that I also have three dogs, one of which just delivered a litter of 7 pups, and two cats...even if a truck carrier HAD a pet policy, the cab isn't big enough for 10 APBT dogs and two cats, me and my wife

If they don't mind doubles and hazmat or 150-200k/year, go ODFL .

Full details on my blog - click user name and then blog tab.

    Otherwise check China's suggestions.

Appreciate your honesty - I have nought to hide either.
