Do they hire felons? If so, how old does it have to be? Home time? 1099 or W-2? How much experience do they require? Terminal locations in Indiana?
No felonies in 10 years. I hear that a lot. Along with 1 year experience required. I understand, it costs a lot of money to train someone and the risk of accident is much higher with an unskilled driver. But ####... having these qualifications filter out guys who want to drive and are really good at driving. I don't understand why they don't want to hire felons. It's not like I'm going to someone's house, which I have done since I got out of prison. I sold vacuum cleaners door-to-door. Terrible job. Spent about $500/week in gas, worked on commission only.
Read this thread it may help!!!! http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...09950-what-companies-would-give-ex-felon.html
Residential Burglary. Fancy way of saying B&E. Convicted 2007, released from prison 2008, released from probation 2012.
B&E is a bad mark for companies..... and it has not been 10 years... all they see is theft!!!! Mom and Pop shops are going to be your best bet.... they dont look closely... but I left you a link in a post above... wish you luck!
Maybe. I know of one near me. Nancy Baer. I'll have to look into them and see what's going on, that is if they're even hiring. Saw it and read it. Thanks!
