Does Mercer have "yards" in major cities you can park at? Or is Louisville pretty much their only place they have parking.
-
Some of the agents have lots with truck access.
-
Would you know any of the cities off the top of your head that has these lots?
-
Anyone here pulled loads for Mercer's brokerage arm before leasing on? Or anyone currently pulling broker loads?
I'm pulling a hopper right now doing a lot of harvest work and it pays pretty well. A lot of people so far have told me they plan on having more wheat next year and want me to come back. I'm looking at buying a flatbed still and doing that during the winter and spring to stay busy then. Is Mercer's brokered freight fairly strong for one truck to stay busy with? -
I believe the thread "Update on mercer" started off about that subject. Try to send a PM to Jacquesi23, I believe based on his 1st post, he is currently pulling their broker freight.
-
I pulled for them going all the way back to 95 when i first got a truck. But not exclusively. I don't think you could stay busy relying exclusively on one brokerage firm. At least not at a profitable rate.

Ok, thanks. I'll message him.
Gotcha. I wouldn't try to pull for just Mercer, but I know what you mean. Thanks.
