So two weekends ago i came back from home time waiting Friday for a load. Get a call around 1pm. Hey we got a load for ya can u get to Forney TX before 5 pm i said yes and went to pick it up. so i got loaded place closes 20 mins after i get loaded and i'm overweight 11400 steers 34600 drive 34500 trailer 5th wheel doesn't slide bolted in place. time i get it weighed and go back there closed. so i was told to go back in the morning. i do and some clown is like i'm not touching the trailer blah blah he dont work that side or something. i drive to QT ON I-45 near Hutchins tx. weekend dispatch tell me to go back 25 miles to see if they can load it again ofc they wont drive back to qt 25miles (closest truck stop with parking) sit there for 4 hours and dispatch calls me again hey drive back there and say (jesus something cant remember the last name) said it needs to get reworked and if they don't get the supervisors name etc.. I do and they wont rework it sayin he cant touch it cause he didn't load it woundn't give me a supervisors name i go back to QT. Call weekend dispatch and they said ell your going to have to wait till monday i said well am i at least going to get layover pay and he said they cant that was the final straw for this company i drove the truck and trailer to the knight transportation yard where we rent like 10 spots to drop trailers. Dropped the trailer and drove home 167 miles bobtail right when i hit jolly Texas i started getting QC messages and phone calls 12 miles from my home. pulled up to my house sent a QC message saying i quit and i will call my DM and see where they want me to bring the truck..

Oh boy ... I hope this load was going some distance and likely across at least 1 open scale. I understand you may have reached your limit with Knight, but not sure the situation was handled right. But good luck just the same.
TequilaSunrise, 12 ga and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
When i called my DM monday he asked if i wanted a few days to make sure i wanted to quit i said i don't need any time i'm quitting i offered to bring the truck to el paso and by my own greyhound ticket home and he said i can just bring it to the same place i dropped my trailer. i said ok and asked to speak to his boss and i wanted to make sure if i do this i wont get abandonment on my dac he said where not putting anything on your dac and i guess i beleave him but time will tell
