No I have done some fill in part time there for a temp service. I just sent them an application today. I thought they were a national corporation , they just sponsored a college bowl game .

They've got a huge terminal on I-71 just south of Columbus, OH. I see their trucks all over.

R&L is a pretty good company to work for from what I've heard. Their trucks USED TO and may still flat out fly but I'm not sure. I've talked to a few of their drivers in the Midwest and they didn't have anything bad to say about the company. Didn't ask wages or anything, but they all seemed to enjoy their job and they all were very polite drivers (kinda hard to be when you hate your job).

    That's their corporate headquarters.

    They're not bad.

They used to run them at 72, but have since turned them down to 68.

Like with any of those kind of outfits, it all depends on the terminal you work at. Every one is ran differently.

Years ago, I knew a guy who worked for them. According to him, you need a pallet jack, and 2 wheeler to do your job. But they want the driver to purchase them.

They run 48 state plus canada, good company , treat employees good, still family owned and run decent equipment, LTL, truckload, and also purchased a reefer outfit named abco a few years ago.
P/D drivers buy their own pallet jacks as stated by other poster, they figure you will take care of it if its yours. I think they have a purchase plan for them and have decent pricing as you buy from them.
