Has Rand considered making a PC version of the mapping software so you could layout your route on your PC and view it trhen down load it to either the TND500 or TND700?

This would allow for viewing on a larger screen and selecting more options as far as route selection.

    Just a thought.

If you have a Mac, be sure to E-Mail me so I can get you version 1573. I need your serial number off the back of the TND and a mailing address. No P.O. boxes. Shipped FedEx.

Or I can update you via the internet. You would need at least a 1 GB SD Card or Micro SD Card (if a T7C).

file size is less than 100mb.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Does anybody know if the PCMiler 450 organizes or alphabetizes the favorites. Or does it just save them at the end as entered. Meaning you have to search through all 1000 favorites. If it does can you explain what it does? TY

You know what would great is having the ability to customize the trip as far as telling the device the route your company has laid out for you. Right now the choices are Fastest Route and Shortest Route. Kind of the same thing in my book. A lot of time my company routes me a certain way for fuel stops and it would be nice to tell the tnd which roads I need to take rather than hear it telling me to take the next exit all the time and U turn etc, until I finally get past the point of no return and it recalcs and gets with the program. You see, we are charged $1 for every mile we don't use the company route.

I don't want to sound all negative, this device is a lifesaver! I especially like the POI feature for finding rest areas or travel centers nearby when my clock is running out.

That feature was requested... it is used also for O\S. No time frame yet as to when it will be added, but it is on the top of the list,

    Thanks,
    Mark
