ok mark but which are u closer to? prefer the wilco at x42 if poss. on my route need fuel too. how do i get hold of you? cant send pm.

 

that one is okay... tight on parking though... you might be able to park across the street by Lowe's....

My laptop does not have a cd it's on the docking station.

 

if you find slow screen response times, please go to main menu/preferences/device settings

scroll down to gps data..

I would like you to look and let me know how many satellites used/seen.. (bottom - right side)

Good Evening Mark,
I just hooked up to update latest incremental updates and found a new tnd dock update. once I downloaded and installed the dock it now shows an error and will not do anything except restart (same error) or exit. I uninstalled the dock and reinstalled from my 500 and then tried to update with same results.
am running windows 7 retail and the dock has been fine

any help would be appreciated

I am running win 7 also. I just connected to the TND Dock and ran the update. Mine ran fine. I will uninstall TND Dock like you did and reinstall and see what happens.

Their is a tab called "Show IntelliRoute TND Info" it should tell you the TND Dock version number.

Is the error msg telling you TND 1 or TND 2 is not connected? if so..after you updated your TND Dock, disconnect the USB cable to the TND. Then reconnect. Give it a few moments to establish a link then try updating again.

When a TND Dock does a "install" again, you have to disconnect your TND from your computer. It basically unmounts the "drive" letter that is assigned to your TND when you do the install. Then reconnecting the TND via the USB cable will "mount" the drive again to your computer.

Morning Mark,
well if I leave the dock at 1.0.23 I can get the updates for my 500 without any
problem. If I try to update the dock to 1.0.45, it goes through the install and then I immediately get an error screen that says "tnd dock has encountered an error and must close" with 2 choices "restart application or exit application"

now I have tried every trick in the book that I know of and even tried setting compatability mode to vista and xp and still same problem.

and now I just noticed it say that new tnd dock updates are available
of course that won't work because I can't get past the error to update the dock

is there any way to download the latest dock setup without going the update route through the tnd dock?

dock version is at 1.0.45 and 500 is at 2009.9.1392.2101
