Rand mcnally which one

    I start orientation on monday and my company wants all of us to bring a rand mcnally atlas. I have never used or bought one before. What is the best one. I saw a paperback midsize a paperback easy read and paperback 35% larger lol. Is there a difgerence in the material or they all the same

    You want the Rand McNally truckers road atlas. You can get one at most any truck stop.

    They sell a few varieties...cheap paper one is all you NEED, but won't last long. Laminated ones are nice and hold up quite well. The "large print" really doesn't show any more detail than the others...it's just the same map printed bigger, so each map takes up more pages, which makes it more of a pain in the rear than anything else.

    Yes, thank you, its titled the Motor Carrier Atlas I think you can get one for around $25 to $30

    Yeah, will do. At the rate I actually used it in the straight truck. Either will last a long time.

    Nah, go buy the paperback one for $10 from Sapp Brothers. Theirs has really good coupons in it that offsets the cost. They last me about 18 months before I get a new one.
