Daytime hours, weekends/holidays off. Fair trade-off when you are single(ish).

Yea well I am lucky that my girl always supported what I had to do. Now that I have somewhat of a life again it's even better. At least with lumber you will have a forklift or a boom truck. No lift gate amd two wheeler inside deliveries

    What is U-pack?

Calling in on Fridays is foolish in my opinion as that is my favourite and best day of the week. If anything call in on Mondays, yuck. What company do you drive for Oi?

U-Pack is similar to PODS, They are a Relo cube with barn doors tightly fitted into any trailer. Around my area, driver uses a step deck flatbed with a 3 wheeler forklift hanging off the back. Can fit 4 U-Packs. PITA from start to end destination. However, No one will screw with your personal belongings.

EDIT to ADD: Jeeez I sound like the commercial and nailed the description, I need another hobby :biggrin_25511:

They aren't cheap, but in the end no one will ###### with your stuff.

Ha, was going to say mondays also. That's my best OT outta the week. Football/Hockey season rolls around, Many co-workers have season tickets to the local NFL team.Similar to the packers, Ours is something like 25 years wait to get on list and the seat license/Parking fees is absurd. Home game NHL/NFL sundays, expect to see half a dozen off mondays ( small terminal ).

Good for them, I can't knock it.

Yea Mondays are my big OT days as well. We start earlier and normally still finish at my average done time. Fridays lately I've been getting some good OT too, it works for me as when I go back upstate for the weekend I don't hit all the traffic

OT? What is this OT everyone keeps talking about? I kinda want some of it. Last time I earned OT was in 2003 in South Carolina at Chick-Fil-A. It was only half an hour and I got yelled at.
