Are any of your seeing a drop in freight volume? We are barely halfway of where we need to be and it is causing havoc on the amount of hours we get to work.

No. In fact I've been busyer then ever. Though, we have seen 4 of our drivers decide to do other things with their lives.

One, is due to have her 3rd child mid April.

A second is going back to construction.

A third decided, that since his papercut in the Chair Force was covered no by the VA. He was gonna go back to college and get a degree in cyber security. Thinks he's gonna get a job at the CIA. Nevermind that he's had 5 jobs in the last 10 years.

And the 4th, is going to a vac truck company for the summer.

Otherwise, our freight is going nuts right now.

Things are decent by us. A step below our heaviest times, but not slow.

Busier than expected due to our mild winter. I bid the last in the lane, thinking I’d get canceled a lot, but instead I’ve been working almost every day and there’s usually enough freight that I can turn and burn at the hub without waiting.

We just hired another driver to fill out the extra board, and they’re still trying to hire a couple more drivers to take freight that’s currently being run by purchased transportation.

Lumper Humper and Digman943 Thank this.

What I have been seeing more of lately is more multiple skid orders.

When you can empty a full trailer in 2 1/2 hours, I’ll take it.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take you guys to build a set? It takes me about 30 ish minutes more or less, usually a lil more.
