got out the truck, and saw this. My guess someone tried to squeeze past me in a residential area.

Wonder if safety will tell me how it happened, or make me think I did it.

They better watch my entire shift on that dang dash cam because I didn’t touch anything.

I had a delivery to city hall, which is tight. I’m guessing someone back into my with their tow hitch no other damage to the truck.

so much for having a new truck :(

Had to happen sooner or later. Now you just need your first breakdown and it should be good for a while.

Management just hit me with the “corporate wants to know how that happened. We’ve had too many incidents, and you had a few”.

    Like come on…

that drive cam records 24/7 tell me how it happened because I didn’t did anything. Probably happened when I was delivering to a Residential off a main freeway and someone’s mirror did that because there’s nowhere to park but the main road itself. How do I know? I reported it when I saw it.

I didn’t see it until I hit a dock at Home Depot. I have some residentials where I sometimes use the passenger door to get out away from traffic.

last time swift broke my mirror at a Walmart, and they didn’t even bother doing an accident report… swift bought cooper like 2 weeks later lmao

I think it would be awful hard for you to hit anything and cause that. If you hit somebody’s car and did it I guarantee you’d have heard about it within an hour.

That air bag shot that tail light about 25’ down the street I was parking on. Scared the crap out of me. Never had one blow on a tractor. 4.5 hours for a tow truck to bring me out another tractor.

How much weight did you have on board?

Earlier this week I passed a recovery operation in progress. This was a single screw mail truck pulling a 53’. A rollback had the drive axle on board, a lowboy had the rest of the tractor, and the wrecker was preparing to leave with the trailer.

That must’ve been a rough ride.

I have long wondered what the most efficient way to remove riveted tail lights was.

    Now I know.
