Because it would’ve made to sense to send you with that early load, when management can just have him goof off for a few hrs.

My customers have all said they like me better than the previous driver on my route…. I ask them why and they all say it’s because I show up at a decent time.

Makes me wonder just how long the last guy took on this route.

 

How the hell can you be in the yard for 2 hours? They would be out looking for me thinking I’m dead.

 

We have a few electric pallets jacks by me. No one is assigned to one. Typically never an issue if I need one. Well recently this driver thinks the power jack just replaces his pallet jack. So he uses it everyday. Got screwed a couple times but today was the worst. 3k pound tote almost in the nose of my trailer at a stop that has no dock. Never doing that again, I’m not gonna blow out a knee for a tote. I’ll bring that back next time. I had no dock deliveries before hand or I would have asked someone to move it to the tail for me. This guys a straight up ### so I’m sure my boss just doesn’t want to deal with him since I’m not the only one complaining. Maybe he will get the idea once I start bringing back freight. Unless the customer is closed bringing back freight is a huge deal by me.

Because his first stops can't deliver until after 0900?

Or more likely the Office Ocelot doesn't have the authority to make that decision. They don't get to make that decision because too many Office Ocelots got caught playing Reindeer Games.

 

Had a delivery of glass today, and had a trainee with me.

well, it was 300lb 8ft long. I thought I’d be nice asked the lady to move her car so I don’t block her in.

Told her I may be able to get it into garage; well she opens the door and a human can barely walk in there.

Told her I can’t help her; if I break the glass, or damage the driveway I’m at fault because my employer will say I had no business helping you.

she says “well, how do I get it in the house?”.

I say “I mean this respectfully. That’s not my problem. My responsibility ends at your mailbox”.

boss man told me to leave, and she called corporate. Don’t need a signature for Home Depot shipments lmao.

She was probably even more pissed because ABC supply was doing a delivery of doors/trim and they put it in the garage.

 

Just got to do the best you can while covering your own butt.
