Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

In the days past, that problem would have been solved out back.

 

Being bottom ##### on the extra board SUCKS. I’m determined to push through though. Please pray for me anyways.

 

Being a yard hostler man is amazing.

My only complaints is night shift, and the initial rush to throw all the trailers into a door.

I’m still learning the hostler, but this thing does donuts like crazy.

 

Rough day on Friday. 3 deliveries and 3 pick ups, then a swap. If only I had me some seniority. Sure beats 12 lift gate deliveries lol.

 

This was my Friday adventure….. Took the forklift to pull and lower while i lowered it on my lift gate. Only took 45 minutes to unload. No damage, or anything to it, so we called it a victory.
It’s a roof top AC unit. 2,578lbs.

 

We moved it very slowly. It was the same weight all the way around, thankfully. The forklift barely held it, and my lift gate was creaking pretty bad, we didn’t have anything else to use as a backup in case we couldn’t get it off the trailer the way we did.

I was thinking that they’d at least have a “catch” forklift in case, but they only have the one. The owner of the business said we got extremely lucky, and he’s gonna have a rotator on stand by for the next one.

 

I’m not sure how they got it in there, it was loaded before I got into work Friday morning, it was on the very back 1/4th of my trailer It was pretty even weighted all the way around from I saw.
